Terry was a wonderful host for our large group! He is extremely responsive with inquiries about the house. The home is nestled in the most beautiful area with plenty of space to walk around and explore the beautiful property. The house makes you feel like you’re in the mountains of Tennessee! Our group looks forward to future bookings with Terry and his cabin.

We had a wedding at Ole Oak Barn and needed a place to stay that could hold our family. Location was really convenient for the venue. The house was perfect for our group. We had 5 women trying to get ready for a wedding at the same time, and having 3 full bathrooms made a big difference. There were lots of bedrooms, which makes this an exceptional place since a lot of airbnbs that sleep large groups mean you have to share rooms or sleep on pull-out sofas. The kitchen was the right size for our group, and we loved having coffee out on the porch. The view of the pond was really nice, and my adult nieces LOVED taking pictures of the decorations throughout the house. The checkout checklist was very reasonable and checkout was a breeze, which sets this place above others where we have stayed. If we ever need to be back in this area, we will be repeat guests.

Accurate description. Nice place for a family retreat. Does feel like a personal residence and not a formal rental property (lots of personal effects, refrigerator filled with their food, etc.). If taxidermy makes you uncomfortable in any way, this is not the place for you. Terry was prompt in all communications.

Absolutely Beautiful property & home! Huge house! Very spacious & perfect for multiple families. We were here for our sons wedding at The Cotton Press & it was 7 minutes up the road! We had 3 families staying in the house & we never got in anyone’s way. It was perfect! Terry was the perfect host! Also, I’m obsessed with his taxidermy items. That’s not for everyone & that’s ok but it was all beautiful to me! We will definitely stay again if we are visiting the area!

Terry was super accommodating. The place is great. Mornings especially are peaceful with a cup of coffee on the back deck. Highly recommend if you're looking for a little slice of calm, just West of Columbia.
