We werden hartelijk onthaald en waren onmiddellijk op ons gemak bij Christina en Nicola. Het huisje was zeer goed en de omgeving in het groen is prachtig. Het is er heerlijk vertoeven op het mooie terras na een dag op uitstap te zijn geweest. De Rust is fenomenaal. We kregen goede tips over de omgeving en konden voor alles bij Christina & haar gezin terecht. We ontdekten een nieuw stukje Toscane (zalig in het groen). We raden een verblijf in casa botena ten zeerste aan!

Wir waren 10 Tage bei Cristina und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die ersten Tage war es extrem heiß und deshalb war es umso schöner einen Pool zu haben. Den haben wir richtig ausgenutzt. Die Gegend ist traumhaft und die Unterkunft war super schön und sehr typisch. Cristina und Nicola waren tolle Gastgeber. Natürlich nicht zu vergessen den Haushund Otto. Ein ganz spezieller Geselle der uns viel Freude bereitet hat. Empfehlenswert!

Siamo tornati a Casa Botena per un rilassante weekend e come la scorsa volta siamo stati benissimo. Nicola e Cristina sono sempre molto disponibili e gentili, forniscono ogni tipo di informazioni anche sui posti nelle vicinanze dove assaggiare i piatti tipici. La casa è molto silenziosa, fresca e completa di ogni comfort. La posizione è perfetta per il relax, la casa é circondata dal bosco di proprietà dove fare belle passeggiate ed é presente una piscina dove la privacy è totale. Torneremo sicuramente.

Cristina's villa is absolutely ideal if you want to explore all the beauty the Mugello region has to offer. It's set back in the mountains of Vicchio on a paved road, making it very easy to access. It takes about 10 minutes to get into the center of Vicchio and about 20 to get to borgo San Lorenzo. There are many hiking trails and a small creek with a waterfall right on the property, so you can explore nature right out the front door. The villa itself is beautiful. Cristina has taken great care of this space, it's very clean, very cozy, and full of fun personal touches. We enjoyed sitting out on the front terrace and enjoying the weather with a glass of wine. Cristina is a superb host. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the region. We were able to share wine and stories together, which made our stay even more special. 11/10 would recommend!! Can't wait to come back and visit!!
