No Karen affiliated. Only Gloria and David own property. Food was awesome for 6 days. Then I woke at 5:30am sounded like remodel. Banging on walls and yelling upstairs to someone outside. I wanted to know if it was remodeling. No, it was 30ish year old boys upstairs. After 20minutes I contacted her it stopped in 2 min. After 6days of impeccable food I had a 3day old still cold from fridge corn cake on my plate. But she said “no savvy” when I asked about the “ boys’ noise”that morning. Figured they were friends or family by the way they laughed outside. The men talked loudly and said ugly things and laughed everyday when they passed my room going up or downstairs. Got scared when I realized it was 4 or more & they were only ones above me, no one else was on my floor, no one was below me and my door is a bedroom door with no deadbolt and no is on property through the night. Men giggling on sunny day above as my cable went on and off. Electrocuted by metal handrail on sunny day.

Karen’s place was just perfect! It landscape and deco fit well with the surroundings. The staff was very hospitable and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and really a good start to the day before heading out to the day long tours. Would certainly recommend the place to anyone looking for a clean, peaceful place to rest and easy walking distance to town.

Karen’s place was great. It’s was clean and had tons of hot water. There was AC to escape the heat and breakfast is included. It was nice to sit outside in peace and quiet and enjoy the flowers, grass, and overall environment. Breakfast was good too. Her place is about a 10 min walk to the town so the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Your bed is made daily and room is cleaned daily as well. I would def recommend her place.

As others posted, in a quiet neighborhood really only a short walk from the main drag. Really close to the Darwin Research Center actually. The courtyard area was full of blooming flowers and relaxing.
