Everything was as described for our stay. We had no concerns with cleanliness or presentability at all. It is a peaceful and serene setting set beautifully in the woods. It snowed while we were there so we did not do any hiking or have a bonfire but the views were stunning. The only issue I brought to the host’s attention was a DVD player that skipped our DVDs. The backup DVD player did not have a remote and we couldn’t use it. We had even checked with them ahead of time to make sure a DVD player would be available. I saw another review from 10 months ago saying the DVD player skipped theirs as well and so I’m disappointed that it was still happening, but the host was very kind and receptive and said they would replace it so it hopefully won’t happen to others. Otherwise it was a lovely stay in a spacious cabin which was very homey and comfortable.

We stayed at Pine Lake for a winter weekend. There was snow and bitter temperatures, but our stay was cozy and enjoyable. We didn’t explore the area due to the weather. We bundled up to play in the snow and even cooked hotdogs outside in the fire pit. The house was clean and warm, we were cozy all weekend, including the dogs and the toddler. For little kids, there wasn’t much by way of games and DVDs, but the streaming was reliable for us and the arcade-style game console provided some entertainment as well. Older kids and adults would enjoy the board games. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean, and kitchen was easy enough to use. We’d definitely stay at Pine Lake again!

This was our second stay at Pine Lake, and it could not have been any better. The facility was clean and comfortable, and met our expectations in every way.
