Fantastic house near the cute town of Torrey, close to Capitol Reef Natl Park. We loved using the telescopes! Easy access to hiking and the amazing restaurant Hell’s Backbone Grill. Jenny and Steve were quick to respond to our questions and very helpful. Highly, highly recommended!

My family had the most wonderful stay at Dark Sky House this past week. It is one of the best AirBnBs we have stayed at. Steve and Jenny are the most wonderful hosts that you can imagine. They have thought through every comfort and need for their guests at Dark Sky House, which has all the amenities that you can possibly desire in a vacation home - a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds/linens, and spa like bathrooms. Also, everything is wonderfully set up for star gazing - from Adirondack chairs all around the exterior of the house to extra blankets and telescopes for guests to use during their stay. Steve and Jenny were also very responsive to every question and requests that I had regarding what to see and do and where to eat - and all their recommendations were top notch. The Dark Sky House is a vacation destination in itself. And we will surely be back again to enjoy both the house and the Capitol Reef National Park. Thank you Steve and Jenny for a very very memorable stay!

The Dark Sky House is beautifully situated and well appointed. We especially appreciated the large kitchen that is well stocked with various appliances (including coffee maker and electric kettle both of which we used everyday) and many pots/pans as well as a large collection of spices and cooking oils. The large windows and sliding doors in the house show off the views of the surrounding mountains. Both sunrise and sunset are quite lovely at the house. While we were there, Torrey unexpectedly received 16 inches of snow and while we were snowed in for two days and even experienced a power outage, Steve and Jenny made sure the house had a snow shovel and kept in touch regarding the weather, road conditions, and power outage status. They were very responsive to our question which was appreciated. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would love to return one day!

My husband and I were truly impressed with this beautiful home. Every window had an awesome view of mountains. Everything was at our fingertips for cooking and relaxing, everything was sparkling clean, and lastly, Jenny and Steve were always available when needed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jenny and Steve are great hosts. Check in and checkout was seamless and they gave us good valuable, local information on hikes and restaurants. The house is comfortable, modern, very private and well designed for experiencing the surrounding beauty of Torrey (capital reef area). Most important to us was the house’s location in the Dark Sky community. The house came with multiple telescopes for our use and unobstructed views of the sky. We picked this house for viewing the annular eclipse and it was a perfect.
