The setting of the cottage was beautiful, we were lucky with the weather but would be equally cosy on a rainy day. The space was perfect for our weekend away, the hot tub was a bonus. Lovely space, cosy furniture with all the kitchen equipment we would need to cater for our time. We loved it so much, looking to make it an annual spot to visit with our friendship group. Heather was a great host and great communication before, during and after our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was just what we expected. Beautiful lodge, amazing views but private due to careful planting. We enjoyed the hot tub and the log burner. Plenty of room for parking. I’d definitely recommend it for someone who wanted a peaceful getaway in gorgeous surroundings. I can also recommend the massages and treatments from Mandy who visited us. We also enjoyed our visits from two little doggies, presumably the owners, so friendly. Thank you Heather.

My friends and I had a lovely stay at this property! There were 6 of us altogether and the house was spacious and well equipped with plenty of blankets and towels. The jacuzzi was incredible! Heather was kind enough to leave some eggs and a bottle of wine which we greatly appreciated. The views from the property are stunning and there was easy access to surrounding areas for walking etc. We didn't visit, but there's a pub about a 20 minute walk away which is convenient. Would highly recommend staying here!

Host Heather could not be more friendly or approachable. The lodge was absolutely pristine with gorgeous views from the deck. We were left contact details and a lovely note with complimentary wine and some eggs from the chicken farm which was a fab touch. Hot tub was cleaned daily, and we were taught how to use it upon check in. Wood was provided for the wood burning stove which was most welcome to come into after sitting in the hot tub in the evenings. We would definitely stay again, this place is an absolute gem!
