Very bad experience. Things seemed a bit unusual when I received two passcodes for the room one day prior to the stay. However, on arrival, it turned out that both these passcodes were wrong and thus my party of three was left stranded in the middle of the night (2am) and left to fend for ourselves. The host was completely unresponsive. We kept trying all sorts of modifications of the given passcodes and by a stroke of luck managed to stumble upon the correct passcode and enter inside. Once inside, we noticed that the place smelled bad and further, there were only 2 towels intead of 3 (the room was for 3 people and this was mentioned on the page). This was the worst experience I have ever had on airbnb and further, the host has now refused to refund me for this. It is bizarre to me that the host considers this acceptable, knowing full well that we were stranded in the middle of the night for her fault of giving the wrong passcode.

if you are looking for a cheap place to stay (mainly for sleeping) I could see this being an option but honestly it would be better to shell out the extra $40-50 a night to get someplace nicer. Here were the issues: Have to use three long codes to get into the room Room is small Buzzing noise occasionally (the air-conditioning?) Fridge is dirty/smelly Towels are disposable (think large paper towels) 1 outlet only (so fridge is either on or you can charge things) Room is dirty (there are dirty orange peels under the bed) Water boiler had a mold/gooey substance in it Shower/bathroom door is see through so it is bad for privacy the saving grace of this location would be the owner as they are very responsive (got us a new water boiler when told about the dirty old one) and the price

Room was simple and had all I need for the stay! Location is accessible to both Bus and MTR. Has lots of stores around the area and all other spots are just walking distance! Host was super nice and accommodating! Although there was a language barrier, we were able to converse using AirBnB's automatic translation in chat! If you just need a place to sleep while in Hong Kong! I highly recommend this place for it's location!
