The host met me as my uber arrived and took me up to a room, it was clear that she didn’t speak much english. After about two minutes of started to get settled, she had rushed me out of the room saying that she’d given me the wrong one, and then hurriedly fixed up a bed in a different room. The reservation was for two guests but there was only one bed. Then she used her translation app to ask if we were a couple, i said no, and she told me our original room “no longer existed”. She set up another single room and I thought that was that. I ended up cancelling the reservation after getting a text around 10:30pm asking if we had a problem staying in a one bed single person room together. Terrible experience

Large house very comfy and accommodating

This place was okay. The outside of the house was very pretty and the yard and porch are too but the inside not really. There were a lot of bugs and mice that would get into my food sometimes. The bathrooms were also disgusting. There was dirty toilet paper and accessories and the bathrooms always stunk so bad and doors from the showered fell off and the showers would clog. You also have to buy everything from scratch. The pots and pans they have are not actually useable. The coatings are flaking off and goes Into the food, everything sticks or it would fall apart. There’s not really utensils and then you obviously buy your own toiletries too. So there were many Inconveniences with this stay but if you need a quick place to sleep then I guess it’d be okay but for longer stays you’re better off finding a hotel or something else especially with this price.

J was a great place to stop over in Philly. It’s close to the city, and if you are planning to get some drinks, there is a bus close by that takes you back and forth to downtown all day and late night.
