On day of check in, we were informed by the host that the property had been booked for the month and that our stay was cancelled even though the host accepted our reservation and we had paid the balance of the cost a week prior to check in. She did offer us an alternative property but it was not acceptable due to the number of steps to access the property. So we were left to find accommodations that accepted pets at the last minute. The Host did agree to provide a full refund.

Great place to stay for a country getaway with the pups!

This cabin is a great place for a quiet getaway. It is located on the edge of a hay field which offers nice scenery. The front porch has outdoor furniture to relax on and a charcoal grill. Inside, it was very clean and furnished sparsely but nicely including a very comfortable bed. The kitchen was well-equipped, and a grocery store is about 10 minutes away. The interior was a little rough around the edges in spots but overall it had a nice, rustic look. ​The WiFi was reasonably fast, and we had very little trouble streaming TV and music. The cabin is located fairly close to the paved road, but it has very little traffic on it. Our dog had plenty of room outside to run around. Debra was hospitable and responded quickly to messages. We would stay here again.
