We booked Ratterman Ranch as a last minute trip to view to the solar eclipse. The house did not disappoint. Spacious, beautifully furnished, comfortable and with all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. We had questions throughout and Ben & Sharla were extremely responsive. We will never forget our time here as we got to witness the total solar eclipse!

Beautiful scenic views and great house. Plenty of sleeping arrangements and the kids loved the property. They even have their own waterfall!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Ben and Sharla’s place over the holiday. We arrived to Christmas music and fresh brownies, which was a great start to our trip. There was plenty of room for everyone to hang out, play games, and read. The kitchen was well stocked. Only complaint was that the coffee maker was really slow and one more bathroom would have been nice for a group as big as ours. The property is really beautiful and the sunsets were amazing. We did two really nice hikes just a few minutes drive from the property- Fern Falls and Alum Cove Natural Bridge- both pretty easy hikes for all skill levels.

From the moment we walked through the door, we felt the warmth and care the host had but into the home for our arrival. Everything was clean and very spacious. The home provided a magical backdrop for our holiday gathering with family and friends. Loved our stay and highly recommend to anyone seeking a place to unwind from the pressures of everyday life. The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare for any meal. We will definitely book again if we return to the Jasper area.
