Appartement très agréable, hôte bien organisé et sympathique. Le nouveau wellness center est magnifique. Jolie région avec beaucoup de hiking trail.

Annonserer med at det er wifi, men vi hadde ikke wifi under vårt opphold. kontaktet verten, men det tok over et døgn før vi fikk svar. wifi fungerte fremdeles ikke. stille område. leiligheten var litt mer slitt enn hva vi hadde forventet oss.

Jacques was a friendly and gracious host who received us warmly to show us around. The cottage is spacious and the view from the large terrace was lovely. The kitchen was well-equipped and the big fridge with water dispenser came in really handy on the hot days we had. However, there are a few points that could really be improved. We found the beds uncomfortable and on two mornings we were woken up early by construction sounds on the adjacent apartments belonging to the same host. The internet connection was very unstable. The surroundings are lovely although the nuclear power plant next to the village is unsightly (the plant is not visible from the cottage though). Luckily, many pretty hiking trails quickly take you to the next valley over. The village of Chooz lies close to Givet, which has some nice restaurants and shops. Altogether, our stay was a mixed experience, but we think that with some small adjustments the place could be very nice.
