自我介绍

Hello! :) I am so glad you are interested in getting to know our family. My wife and I met in 2003 at college. After dating for two and a half years, we got married the day after our final exam. Katie began working at a marketing firm, while I began working as a CPA for a large public accounting firm. After 4 years in Cincinnati, I took a job opportunity to audit hedge funds in the Cayman Islands. This incredible experience formed us in many ways by cementing our relationship and giving us the confidence that we could do anything together. We left Cayman in order to start a family back in the States in 2012, and we now have four amazing kids - Giorgio, Decker, Pfeiffer, and Covey. We believe family is one of the greatest tools God gives us in order to change the world. To sum up what we are all about, it's adventure, togetherness, and impact. When my wife and I were starting our family, we decided to quit our corporate jobs and focus on quality over quantity. Since then our life has been filled with adventure through travel, new experiences, business ventures, relationships, and a willingness to do what others think is crazy. "Adventure" to us really means being "doers" by acting on our ideas. Togetherness is a huge part of what our family is about as we integrate our whole family into our work, our education, our faith, our hobbies, and all we do. We work from home to be around our kids, we homeschool together, we travel together, and, generally, any other task from grocery shopping to working out is an opportunity to spend time together. When Katie was pregnant with our first child in 2013, we decided to write a family mission statement to help give us direction in decisions big and small. The gist of our mission statement is to change the world by making it more like heaven. We do our best to make the world a better place by spreading love.
