'An Leti' is a stylish, hotel quality, super-king suite. It has a luxurious bathroom with double soaker tub, twin walk-in shower, bath robes and huge plush towels. There's also a small well-equipped kitchen, sleek wood-burner and internet-enabled Smart TV. Perfect for year-round cosy weekends away with your special someone + a great week-night alternative to bland work trip hotel rooms. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. PLEASE NOTE - This space is only suitable for up to 2 adults plus smaller child/ren on the sofabed. Located between Mitchell and St Newlyn East (great pubs!), about a mile from each, Goonwinnow is easy to find and the location is super-convenient for the A30, and getting to pretty much anywhere else in county, especially the North Coast beaches. Whilst this cottage does not have a garden, there is an enclosed dog walking paddock less than a minute walk away, next to the games barn/children's play area. Goonwinnow Farm's stone barns have been converted over the past 20 years into six holiday cottages of varying sizes to suit solo guests, families and large groups. A total of up to 35 people can be accommodated. Each cottage welcomes dogs and a couple have enclosed outdoor spaces for safe play. All guests are welcome to enjoy the games room, outdoor play areas and pasture land. 'An Leti' which means Dairy in Cornish, is one of the latest spaces to be converted for guests. A huge comfortable superking bed (can be split into singles), plump pillows, crisp white cotton sheets and blackout blinds are the perfect recipe for a good night's sleep.

We had an amazing stay at An Leti, we very much enjoyed all of the facilities and the lovely huge bath! The bed was very comfortable and we have a great night's sleep. It was very easy to find with good parking and a nice outdoor seating area to enjoy the evening sun.
Nikki made contact before our visit to ensure we had all we needed, made a special effort to make things a real treat for my daughters and made sure our mum/daughter weekend was just perfect.
My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and we had a lovely time. The place was great and the surrounding area was gorgeous! Nikki and Mark were very friendly hosts. We will definitely be staying here again 😊
Great hosts ! Really good instructions to find the property. A great little welcome note with lots of restaurant ideas with links, taxi numbers and what shops are in the local area plus what shops are in the neighbouring towns. Really, really helpful. When I approached the host to ask about food deliveries he was more then happy to have a chat with me and answer any questions I had. Really made our stay so much better x
a lovely wee haven in Cornwall, the cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway or a solo traveller. you can be as near or far away from civilisation as you’d like, Newquay and other beaches are nearby for fun days out. the cottage itself is brilliant, loved the fireplace and huge bathtub! would come back in a heartbeat, thank you!

Situated in a beautifully secluded valley, Goonwinnow Farm stands in its own 7-acre grounds and is the ideal location to explore Cornwall. Located just one mile from the A30 in a beautiful, central part of Cornwall, you'll be close to the many stunning beaches of the North Coast and Newquay. As well as being only a short drive to sleepy fishing coves, glorious moorland and many of Cornwall's varied venues, acclaimed restaurants and visitor attractions.
The farm is just a mile away from the village of Mitchell with its lovely 16th Century pub. An easy walk from Goonwinnow, The Plume of Feathers retains many of its original features and serves locally-sourced food in the bar area, conservatory outside in the sunny beer garden.
Newquay's excellent surfing waters are a 10-15 minute drive away as are the many beaches which are now home to many music, surfing and lifesaving events. Newquay Zoo houses 130 different species in sub tropical gardens in the centre of the town. The town also has an Aquarium, a Waterworld and numerous immensely pretty beaches. Trerice run by the National Trust is 3 miles outside of the town is an Elizabethan Manor House and garden. Holywell Bay, with its beautiful beach with fantastic sand dunes and a little stream for paddling is just 5 miles away. In the summer months the beach is patrolled by lifeguards and of course, surfing lessons are available for those keen on learning.
At the end of a day of adventure and exploring, comfortable beds made up with crisp cotton linen combined with peace, quiet and dark skies mean you're sure to leave Goonwinnow relaxed, refreshed and re-connected.
