June and her daughter met us and walked us through the 1,000 year old home and provided us with many great local recommendations. They also helped us arrange a wine tour which was so helpful. The house is very special and there are parts of it that are lovely. The patio is stunning. My husband and I worked from the house for the week and the wi-fi worked really well. However, I think this house needs a decluttering, a deep cleaning, some appliance fixes, and some furniture replacements. Overall, we found the house to not be super comfortable to spend full days in with some older furniture and quite a bit of clutter. The hood vent in the kitchen didn't work which meant we had some problems with food smells getting stuck downstairs. The kitchen had plenty of some things and not enough of others. It just felt like some upgrades could dramatically change the experience of staying in this house.
Had a nice stay. Beautiful view from the patio, but patio had not been cleaned in a while. The stove stop was cracked and did not work properly. We used the oven instead. Also, the dryer did not work. June was very quick to respond to all our questions.
June and Emma are lovely gracious hosts. The tower is an incredible, unique place where you can really feel the wings of history. It has beautiful features, with the best of them being a lovely balcony surrounded by herbs and overlooking the beautiful countryside near the town of Todi. We really enjoyed staying at the house, the possibility to cook and the comfi beds. If you love medieval surroundings, this is the place for you! June and Emma were kind, helpful, took interest in us and made sure we had everything we needed.
