Lovely remote place. We did not see anyone the whole time we were there. It was rustic (had to heat the main area with a wood burner and there is no washing machine) but we were happy. A few issues. I'd asked questions before we went and got no responses. We arrived to find we needed to unlock a combo lock to get the key to go in. No deets had been sent for this - the auto instructions we had been sent said if there were any issues to contact the local contact. The number given went to the cleaning company - but they said they could not give us the access code and we had to phone the letting agent, Cottages com. I called and went through their automated system quite a few times only to be told they could not take calls at the time and I had to wait for a call back. I therefore called the cleaning company back who were very helpful and said they would try and get hold of Cottages com about 2 hours after arriving we eventually got a call with the code. No apology.

A cute renovated cowshed cottage in a very peaceful and beautiful location. The grounds/gardens were stunning with so many little areas, gorgeous plants, a little pond and unusual sculptures. With lovely pubs and restaurants a short drive away, lots of walks from the back door, and beaches also a short drive away. The cottage was well equipped and had lots of kitchen equipment although a few bits in need of replacement. The cottage wasn’t as clean as it could be, with lots of dust and cobwebs everywhere, and a bathroom with black mould on the tiles which could easily be put right. The shower was also not very powerful although we did have hot water and there is a bath. Saying this, the value for money of the venue was spot on. We also met the host who was lovely and helpful.

The cottage is tastefully furnished and spacious within the national park which is peaceful and a perfect location for walking and exploring. The local towns are very friendly and the roads are kept in good condition. We plan to return again soon. Thank you for a lovely stay. Faith and Jonathan

We enjoyed our week at Ty Bach very much. Very comfortable cottage, great living space, kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms and gardens. Shower is a little tricky, as water pressure is low but we managed. Great walks in the area. Newport is very close by and has lots to offer; lovely art galleries, nice seafood restaurant and a great butcher! Overall Ty Bach is a great place to stay.
