The house was very cute and cosy. Everything looked so amazing, the furniture and the surrounding matched nicely. Furniture looks new too. However the water pressure was a bit low and there was not enough drawer to put our personal belongings. Aside from that, I’d love to come back and recommend this place to anyone. Such a lovely place.

Breathtaking views at this location. When compared to many towns in Iceland, Vik is quite large. Bjarni’s house allowed us to see the entire town. The house is spacious and has plenty of space for dining. The hot tub and sauna are a highlight after a cold and blustery day. One thing to note is that it is the highest elevation in town - which means that during a snowstorm (like we had) the winds are quite strong and loud and it is not walkable to town (although during the summer it is easily walkable). We loved our stay!

What an amazing stay! The listing of the surrounding view really didn't do it justice. Absolutely gorgeous. Seemed to be the highest house in town! It was one of the best places we stayed the whole trip. Absolutely would recommend! I also loved the small touches of the house, and the kids' room really made us feel at home. Thank you!

Amazing place to stay in Vik! We were a group of 8 people (with ages 5 to 74) and there was space for all of us and enough stimulation at the house for all of us. The deck with the amazing views of both a glacier and a black sand beach and the hot tub were great for anyone who wanted to relax and take in the beautiful setting. Meanwhile there were toys in one bedroom for the kids and a trampoline out back for the kids to burn energy on. The location couldn’t be beat. We did not rent a car (we took a bus to and from Vik), but we were able to easily walk to the tour meet up points, restaurants, beach, lava show from the house. This is a fantastic place to stay - we will definitely be rebooking for our next trip.

Beautiful house at an amazing surroundings. Probably the best spot in Vik. We had everything we needed and more! Thank you for making our stay unforgettable.
