Such an amazon stay! So private, you feel like you’re right out of the way. The grounds are great, so pretty and great views. The hot tub on the deck is a great addition. This place is an absolute steal for the price.

We have had an amazing stay at The hidden cottage. Communication with owner was great and we had everything we needed and more for our stay. The dogs have thoroughly enjoyed the garden and played for hours out there. We will definitely be returning.

We enjoyed our stay and the hot tub was lovely. Although the obvious visible places in the cottage were clean there was a lot of dust, cobwebs and dirt on the light fittings, ceilings, in the extractor above the shower, in the small cupboard where the high chair was kept etc. The garden is lovely once you are in however we were surprised to see it was located behind a car garage (which you have to drive through to enter the property). We had to check out early due to a family emergency however didn’t get much response from the owner when we messaged to advise this. Just an ‘ok’. My son is only 10 months so is crawling around and he got quite dirty when on the floor, again I think it had been cleaned on the surface however there didn’t seem to be any kind of deep clean. My understanding for the very late check in and very early check out was that gave extra time for deep cleaning & that didn’t seem to have happened. There were nice touches in the bathroom with towels & toiletries provided as well as towels for the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the second bedroom is of a very good size for two to share if required. The kitchen is good with a lovely big range type cooker which is great if you have an extended stay and you are cooking. There are also two fridges which again is great for storing extras you might bring. The garden is fantastic and really private, it is brilliant for dogs and for children to play with no fear of getting out or being overlooked.
