Rajendra is a fantastic host; he always checks in with you and is very responsive. The property is much more stunning in person than it seems in photos. Even though the steps are steep, the view and peace it offers are worth it. It is like home, away from the main metropolis. Additionally, the homemade food was tasty and inexpensive.

Our stay with Rajender ji, Suman ji, and their gorgeous family was just perfect! We arrived a couple of days after a big snow dump so our walk up was much longer than usual. Rajender ji braved the ice and snow to meet us on the highway and help us up the road and steps. The views are just breaktaking and the peace and serenity were exactly what we needed after a stressful year. Suman ji cooked all our meals for a nominal fee. Her food is just delicious and we always had more than we needed! My two boys had a fabulous time playing with the cheeky Nitish and Ayuush. Before the first day was done, the boys were all sliding on plastic through the orchards in the fresh snow. There are some gorgeous hikes in the valley and you feel as if you can touch the mountains out the window. Rajender ji was always super responsive and is very easy to communicate with. We loved it so much, that the kids asked to extend by two weeks. I can highly recommend Himalayan Woodpecker!

We had the pleasure of staying at Rajendra's place for 2 days and Gosh it was amazing. We went there at the peak of snowfall and it'was like a dream come true for us. The place looked like straight out of fairy tale. A safe haven away from the crowd and clutter. loved the ambience. Host and his family were super friendly and helpful. ❤️

we had the pleasure of staying at a charming homestay. From the warm hospitality to the cost ambiance, our experience was nothing short of delightful. It was our first snow experience we had spectacular views. We loved playing snow fight with Ayush and Nithesh. We enjoyed eating food in their home and the conversation with entire family. We are definitely going back during our next visit!! ☺️

Rajender's place was a beautiful house in the mountains. The place was calm and pristine with a beautiful view of the mountains. A 300 step hike is very worthy when you consider what the place has to offer. We were given awesome homemade food as well.
