A lovely cottage but a few little niggles - otherwise I would have given 5 stars The toilet flush was not working when we arrived - luckily my husband was able to fix this The shower had a trickle of water only as did the bath taps . One of the lights in the bathroom wasn’t working either. Overrall the cottage was clean - the milk in the fridge he was a nice touch The cottage has a great location in the village and was within easy walking distance of the local pub and food store - lots of lovely walks too The host had sent a very comprehensive guide use to the property , local amenities and walks in the area

Quaint and cosy and peaceful cottage. Lovely open fire. Comfy bed. Would like to go back.

The cottage is as it is shown in the photos but it is more dated with damp etc on the walls. The heating didn’t come on while we were there (and it was freezing) and the instructions were unclear. On arrival the door doesn’t open fully, the living room had no light bulb, there were no towels or toilet roll and I had to contact the host about this. I think the worst part was that all the plates etc in the kitchen were dirty. Everything we used we had to wash up. There was not much care put in by the host and it really did hinder our stay. Also, when booking I assumed as it advertised as chipping norton that it was in the cotswolds but once I booked and could see the full address it is not. I wouldn’t recommend staying in this area as it is quiet and there is not much going on here. All in all I would not recommend a stay in this cottage.
