Fred, the property manager was very engaged and proactive. He provided local restaurants and convenient places to go. There are stairs to walk up to get there but the view is worth it. Walking to local restaurants is not that convenient. However, you are close enough to everything where it's only a quick few minutes to get there by car or bike. I'd come back again for sure. Basketball HOF, Six Flags, MGM, Big E, lots to do!

This 2-bedroom apartment seems to be a converted attic in a large, beautiful house. It has charm and quirks and a cool view. Lots of space. The hosts were wonderfully friendly. And there were no ridiculous cleaning requirements before check-out! Some challenges that could be expected in this kind of place - drafts/temperature regulation difficult (radiators w no thermostat, hard to open windows w/o screens), noises (creaks, street noises), smells (mostly from neighbors), low ceilings (shown in pics), tiny shower (shown in pics), didn't feel completely clean (bc of age mostly). Some clutter. A lot of steps up to the 3rd floor which was described in the listing but also there is a walk and steps up from driveway/parking area. Just writing this for others' benefit - we had a great stay. It's not the anonymous IKEA showroom type place that many other Airbnbs can feel like.

Clean. Quiet. Solid. Large. Amazing energy in this space. This apartment met our needs. I worked virtually for the week we were here and used one of the bedrooms as my office. I needed my mobile hotspot because the WiFi didn’t reach the room with the door closed. It worked fine in the kitchen and living room. This was ok for me as the privacy of the room was ideal. The other bedroom quite large. Comfortable sleeping. The kitchen is huge. The bathroom is large. Great views of city and neighborhoods out of living room and kitchen windows. Solid and clean place. Fred the manager was exceedingly helpful. My travel companion walked everywhere during the day.. casino, West Springfield, museums. Ideal location for us albeit a bit gritty if you’re not used to urban setting. White noise machine canceled out traffic sounds at night. Beds are comfortable. It was really quiet in the house. Will definitely book the space again soon. It wasn’t fancy, but it felt like home.

We only stayed for two days but coming from a small town the view from the back of the city was amazing to me. Really enjoyed my stay. We will definitely be back
