We love this farmhouse. The setting is tranquil, the surroundings are stunning and the wildlife around is amazing, red kites as abundant as regular birds you see every day. Amazing Aga for cooking, 3 baths, massive bed in the main bedroom, lovely log burner and free wood. Even the teenagers managed to cope with the 3G signal. Perfect
A lovely house in a beautiful rural place. Comfortable beds and good amenities. No Wi-Fi and poor mobile signal so be prepared to be off grid.
Lochenkit House is the perfect choice for a idyllic getaway. We spent 2 nights walking, eating, drinking and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The house was immaculate and well presented with everything you would need for your stay. It was spacious and warm and the views from each window were the cherry on top. We had great communication and even got to check-in early! We couldn’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back.
Beautifully maintained remote cottage in a great location. Lovely interior with quality furnishing and very clean. Plenty of space for parking. Wonderful views over rolling farmland.
If you are looking for a peaceful, warm and comfortable rural retreat, this lovely farmhouse offers everything you seek and more. We were very lucky and had amazing January weather, which enabled us to walk and explore the nearby coast and forests and have outdoor picnics. The house was superb value at this time of year. We loved the cosy wood burner, the kitchen Aga and the luxurious bedding, towels and sofas.
