Host tried to demand that I both identify myself with copies of PII and provide the address of the home I would be leaving vacant during the stay (out of channel communication). The host did not consider this excessive and could not seem to understand that AirBNB is the intermediary. That aside great property (no cable TV or internet) and great location.

This is a lovely apartment in a spectacular location. A little more attention to detail, and it would be 5 stars without doubt. Communication outside of Airbnb website, and request for personal information (including home address and driver’s licence!) prior to check in all seemed rather unnecessary.

Great place to stay in Lorne! Very easy to access the main strip. The only thing is that on the same property is another house, and if people are staying there at the same time because the other property balcony and house is pretty close to this space, it can be very noisy if other group tenants are loud! However other than that - clean, great location, easy to find keys and Lorraine was very good at communicating.

Lorraine & Peter’s apartment was comfortable, modern and in a great location walking distance from the beach and shops. The view from the balcony and windows was awesome! Having to bring all our own linen etc was something I haven’t experienced before and was a bit inconvenient but this was clearly communicated to me before booking so I can’t complain. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place in Lorne and hope to visit again.
