Had a fabulous week in The Granary, the cottage was beautiful, very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped with everything you needed, great beds and sofas and lovely soaps and towels provided. Hosts were great and very helpful. The surrounding area was lovely, really peaceful and picturesque and although you felt you were away from it all it wasn't far to drive to local amenities and attractions. We took our dog and there were lots of walks from the door and lots to do in the surrounding area, Hamsterley Forest was great for walks and mountain biking and local towns Bishop Auckland and Barnard Castle were great for shops, we also visited Raby Castle and High Force which were lovely. Overall a brilliant cottage, will order sunshine next time instead of rain and drizzle but this didn't detract from our stay as the cottage was so cosy.
Fabulous cottage in a lovely location with lots to do. Friendly welcome and well equipped and clean space.
A wonderful place to stay, super attention to detail and exactly what was needed whilst staying up in the area for business. The little touches were so nice, lovely bedding, immaculately clean. I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you so much
