This family were always very friendly and helpful. Not everyone spoke great English, but Goggle Translate and/or the AirBNB app meant there were no issues. The room is set in a beautiful tropical compound, which the grandfather carefully maintains, with a pond and very friendly fish! There is a spot just by the kitchen (another room in the corner) which is beautiful to sit in from before dawn, watching the sky brighten. The air conditioning works beautifully, and was something I really really needed because it was 31'C most days. You can get your room cleaned and your sheets changed any time, in fact they will positively ask if they can do it. I usually try to also say the worst thing about each AirBnB, because that gives a useful measure of the place. Here, I am reduced to finding trivia like it being a tropical climate with little lizards running round, or the sliding bathroom door scraped the wall a bit. Don't miss this gem because of trivia. It is really really beautiful.

Nice, cost efficient room to stay while in Sanur. The room may be a tad small for someone looking for a good amount of space, but I did not mind it. The bed and bathroom are big and nice. Recommend if you are going to be out all day!

We had a pleasant stay at sekar waru. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The location was great and a very short walk to the beach. The place was beautiful and very clean.

The host Wewin and her family were great! So friendly and helpful! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.! ThankYou for a beautiful welcome to Bali! 🌺 They picked me up at the Airport at Midnight for 300. Idr. That is a bit pricey for local prices but well worth the lovely driver who answered many questions and later offered to let me snorkel on the beach at his fathers House. I loved that it is a small family compound filled with trees and flowers so close to the beach and plenty of Warungs (restaurants). The only suggestion I would make is to have a drinking glass and more than 1 hanger in the armoire. Thank You so much Also the Genius cafe in the Mercure Hotel has a great cafe on the beach with vegan and gluten free options. 7 minutes walk away.
