The tent was lovely and clean. Had everything we needed, including pots and pans for cooking. Lydia even provided hot chocolate and tea and coffee, which was a lovely surprise. Very close to local amenities, with shops easily reachable by car.

We had an amazing stay at Under the oak in the safari tent this weekend. Lydia sent across a guide before our stay which had clear instructions and guidance for everything we would need for our long weekend. The hot tub was amazing, the tent was cosy and clean and had everything you would need. The local recommendations were fantastic and if you are a keen walker, there is some lovely walks right on your doorstep! You are in the countryside with the feeling of complete privacy and it is so peaceful yet it is really not far from the village and nearest town. We will definitely be revisiting again soon, thank you Lydia.

We chose this after our Morocco trip was cancelled due to the earthquake. We were looking for something quiet, with nice walks, where we could bring our dog too. The situation of our safari tent was beautifully placed for views, which are stunning. Watching the fish in the pond or the swallows and hawks overhead was a joy, so relaxing. The accommodation has everything you need, very homely. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils. We loved the barbecue and purchased a breakfast and barbecue pack for our stay. Both had plenty. The breakfast one lasted two days for the two of us. The hot tub is amazing, loved the principles of a wood fired one. Very relaxing watching the night sky in the tub. 🥰 The log store was always refilled with no need to ask. 👍 Use the digital guide, it tells you everything you need to know. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a total relax. 👌

The views were amazing definitely worth the stay here, there are shops just 7 minutes drive away or so everything is close by. The check in process was easy and the walk from the parking spot to the place was only 3 minutes or so away. This is a very peaceful place for anybody looking to get away and enjoy nature. The place was very clean and cosy, the hot tub was perfect under the stars at night. We really enjoyed our stay here would recommend to anybody looking for a peaceful get away amongst nature. Also phone reception and data were completely fine we had a strong connection throughout our stay. The pond is such a nice touch you can also see the sun rising and setting clearly, absolutely beautiful views.
