We had an excellent time, perfect for a big group (21 all together). Loads of space and very responsive host. There were not enough towels on arrival but we were given more the next day, and the front door was broken but someone came to fix it within a couple of hours which was great. The check in stated 13:00 but we had to call the host several times when they did not arrive, and then the host told us they would arrive at 16:00 which was very late. But they did arrive around 13:45 after several calls. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was not working/empty, we were looking forward to using it as the time of year we went was a bit chilly so we didnt use the pool much. All decor is fine, a bit rough around the edges in some places. The out house of rooms was very nice but smelt very damp and all the beds were damp, assuming that it hadnt been unlocked/aired out since the summer before. The main buildings room on the bottom floor were good, heating worked and there was enough bedding. The top room was lovely and spacious, but unfortunately the doors onto the balconies wouldn’t lock or close properly so would swing open in the night and we were absolutely freezing, not very good. There was no heating in that room either and could have done with thicker bedding. The bathroom was good with good water pressure and hot water. Good selection of utensils and kitchen appliances, although there were mouldy potatoes in the kitchen and old milk and wine in the fridge that went out of date in 2021. Not sure why this was even there, showed that the property had not been thoroughly cleaned. It would have been good to have more bath mats, bedding, tea towels and spare towels, especially for a group this size. Overall we had a fantastic time, we would happily come again (with the above stuff sorted of course!)
House just as advertised, everything in excellent condition, perfect for a large, diverse group of people. Would recommend and stay again!
