Really well maintained place, comfy, clean, and in a really good location. Michele was a great host.
The photos don't lie this is a well maintained clean immaculate but cosey apartment. For your convenience it is equipped with all home appliances. The washing machine and tumble dryer were especially handy when staying a month to keep the bed linen fresh. The groceries left for us were handy so that after a long journey we could make ourselves tea and coffee and just relax before going to bed.
The apartment is lovely and somehow feels larger than it is, perhaps because it's so tastefully furnished (gleaming white wainscoting, lots of mirrors, polished floors). My wife and I stayed here for a month and found it completely comfortable, even for a long visit (and thank goodness for the laundry facilities!). The brownstone streets are gorgeous, especially in October, and the neighborhood has everything we could have wished for in the way of groceries, drug and hardware stores, wine stores, and restaurants. Prospect Park is close and a lovely contrast to the urban ambience. The subway is a 10-15 minute walk depending on which direction. The apartment is soundproofed and pretty quiet (you can tell there's a family and pets upstairs, but this never bothered us). Michele and Jacqueline strike the perfect balance between affording guests privacy while always being friendly, helpful, and responsive to questions. We would stay here again without hesitation and hope to do so!
What a wonderful place and excellent stay! We had the apartment for a month while our apartment was being renovated. Every convenience, as well as being updated, comfortable and beautiful. Loved having washer/dryer. Excellent bed. Place to do work. Near stores and restaurants but quiet location. Couldn’t ask for a better host than Michele.

My daughter Jacqueline (she/her), who helps us run our Airbnb, is Brooklyn born and raised on this block. We have owned this home for over 25 years and are from Brooklyn and Europe. We speak English and French. We are artists, musicians, professors, professional chefs and have put love and care into building our international household. World travelers, incredibly warm and hospitable, with a love for our home here in Brooklyn. Happy to provide info and recommendations on all the best local spots and our favorites in NYC. We have grown up with people from all over the world and have hosted many wonderful guests in our home and wouldn't have it any other way. Great respect for those who open their doors to others and creating a safe space for all.
