Great place to stay. House with character and only a short walk (2kms) into the village. Great outside space, really peaceful and most of all Jürgen was a great host and always available when we had questions.

A very peaceful and rustic house, with great facilities provided by the host including bbq, welcome drinks and snacks. Everything was clean and fresh. Most of all Jurgen is extremely helpful in guiding you around the house and local village. No internet is available but this can be seen as a positive to get away from the digital world for a few days! (Phone network data service available if you really need to get online though)

We had a great time at House Hammerer. The house is a former farm house, located only two km from Reichenfels where you can get fresh bread in the morning. With neighbours a 100 meters away and a mountain meadow at the back, the location is excellent. Reichenfels has a good outdoor public swimming pool and the area offers great hiking opportunities. The house has three bedrooms with double beds, one of which has 3 beds. Jürgen is an excellent host, quick with answers, and made us feel welcome with drinks in the fridge and coffee next to the coffee machine when we arrived. A set of folders for local sights and maps of the area proved useful. We made good use of the barbeque and grill grid over the fireplace in the lawn at the back.
