This place is all about location and space. Screened in porch in the front and nice backyard. If you’re looking for new or fully renovated, this is not your place. If you want close to beach and restaurants and nice area with lots of space, this is it.

Good location in the highlands that needs some serious TLC. Very walkable with lovely French cafe and more down the street. Nice backyard space and off street parking was a plus. Unfortunately the place needs a deep clean badly. Toilet didn’t flush properly upstairs, toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall downstairs, no shelving for shower toiletries, squeaky bed frames, and extremely slow internet. The instructions given had the wrong address with outdated photos and the wrong Wi-Fi network password. If the place was fixed up this would be wonderful for a family beach stay, but it’s subpar at to other AirBNBs we’ve stayed at in the same price range. We booked with this host two months in advance and had to confirm multiple times that we were coming despite no change in our plans. Then he told us our original booked place was unavailable 5 hours before check-in. Host offered this place instead — I wonder how often this is happening?

It was clean and had exactly what was described in the listing. Jack was responsive and offered me options to stay longer which was appreciated.

Inside the house was clean & comfortable, but the screened in front porch was dusty. I had messaged ahead of time to ask if an early check in was possible, but did not receive a response promptly. We only rented the house for less than 24 hours and paid almost $900 with all the fees for a 3pm check in and an 11am check out the next day. Spending that much I would at least expected a prompt response from the owner. A simple “no” would have been fine. I just felt like he left me hanging which was unnecessary. He had clearly read my message and did not respond for at least a day. Prompt responses are a mark of a 5 star accommodation.
