Cristina's apartment is well equipped and we appreciated having a good fan as well as air con (in a heat wave). The house is in a pretty, quiet, square, 3 minutes walk from the Duomo. Vehicle access is limited, and It's a long walk to public transport, but taxis can get there. Cristina was so helpful in booking us a taxi to the station at the end of our stay.

Cute 2 bedroom apartment, on a little piazza just above the Selva contrada headquarters, 3 min walk to the Duomo and it’s just a few more meters from there to reach the main Piazza del Campo, square. Great restaurants nearby, my favorite is Osteria da Divo, a beautiful restaurant with cave setting. Things to note: 2 flights of stairs to the apartment from the entrance. Inside the apartment there’s a pretty marble staircase that leads up to the bathroom. The shower is small, which is normal for Italian standards, but nice. The space is a little tight between sink & toilet/bidet, but wasn’t a problem. We both have allergies to perfumes, so the air freshener caused some discomfort, but we moved the unit to a cabinet, which helped. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, location was great and our host was very kind & easy to get ahold of. Self check in with lockbox, good wifi 👍🏻
