The Stables is a great place for a quiet stay amidst nature and to experience farm life. We especially loved being surrounded by animals and rolling green fields. June was often around to answer questions and provide information about the place and surrounding area. She made our stay very memorable!

We chose June's place because the price fell in our range. Unfortunately we didn't realise that it was a 'one roomed' stay. I always pick ' house or apartment to yourself'. Her's is one room with a kitchen area. Tiny seperate bathroom with tiniest shower in UK. This space is ideally for a single person wanting to spend a night there. Not 2 people for 4 nights. We also like to prepare our own food. There was no stove and limited cookware. None of these were June's fault, I should have inspected the listed anemities and carefully read the reviews. BUT I FEEL THAT AIRBNB SHOULD BE ABLE, BY THIS TIME, TO SUGGEST STAYS THAT FALL INTO MY POCKET , TASTE AND NEEDS. OR THE FILTERS SHOULD BE EXTENDED TO ASK FOR MORE REQUIREMENTS.

Fantastic host, June was friendly and helpful. A beautiful location, very peaceful and Harry’s stable was just perfect for our stay. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and we look forward to going back again.

Had a lovely, relaxing few days at Harry's Stable. The accommodation was clean and tidy with everything you could need provided. Set in a wonderful location, and overlooking beautiful countryside it is the perfect place for a peaceful get-away!

We had a lovly two night stay in Maurice's stable and wished it coul have been longer. All the information provided by June was so helpful and she had put the heating on before we arrived on a wild, wet and windy evening. The place was very comfortable and the views of the countryside were stunning. We really enjoyed the eggs, boiled for breakfast. Highly recommended and we'd love to return and see more of the area.
