The house is located at one end of Nea Irakleitsa bay. The area is calm and not very touristic. The surroundings are a unique combination of green and blue and the beach is known to the locals for its crystal clear water and sand without any rocks. Close to the house, one can also do water sports.
Nea Irakleitsa is a 20-minute walk by the sea. The village has nice taverns, cafes and bars, as well as supermarkets and pharmacies. Many beach bars can be found within short walking distance.
Kavala is 15 minutes by car and there is a frequent bus three times every hour.

The mount Pagaio with the Gold Mines of Alexander the Great and the valley of the Nestos river are also ideal places for hiking and nature lovers. Thassos island is less than an hour away to make it a day trip or your next destination. Sailing boats operate daily for short cruises in the gulf of Kavala.
