This place was great for what I needed. I was comfortable and sharing the common spaces worked out well. I basically had the 2nd floor to myself because the other guests didn’t use the common spaces on that floor. Being able to do laundry was an added bonus and I appreciate that the guests respect the house rules by picking up after themselves. The neighborhood is very busy but the street that the house is on is quiet. The street parking was convenient and free. Stores and restaurants are close by. Uncle Remus chicken with mild sauce was my favorite. Ms. Helen was very responsive and always friendly. I would stay there again.

Helen is a great host! Super responsive and I very much enjoyed my week long stay here. This place is perfect for both short and long stays. The house is really clean and the room is much bigger than the pictures show. You have your own lock key to your room which felt secured, own bathroom since it's the only one of the second floor, and there is even study/entertainment spaces in the hallway. This place will not disappoint and everyone in the house are all working professionals and respectful. There was also a private parking spot you could use in the back instead of parking on the street for free which I really liked. It made it easy to just park and go around the house from the back end. Overall wonderful experience, super clean house, loved my stay and would stay here again in the future. Thank you, Helen!

Came here again for my 2nd stint in Chicago! Needless to say, as usual, Helen was a pro host and ensured that I enjoyed my time at her home and had everything I needed.
