Great homes in a great location on a small cove. Went late July and weather was amazing. 1+ hour drive from the Airport. Make sure you have a GPS working on the phone to pin the location. One cannot walk too far on the beach, which runs into a hotel on one side and private properties on the other. This creates some privacy for the beach, which we enjoyed. The one downfall is the speedboat pulling people around and in the cove during the days, from the beach next door. The Houses are comfortable and clean with great views on the Ocean front. Hear the waves constantly from all rooms. Artwork is very interesting. Lots of outdoor seating and lounging. A Really magic spot. Nights have amazing sunsets with birds chirping, same at sunrise...just spectacular. The Coral and fish here are scarce unfortunately, due to Global Warming, One should book a boat trip to see more. Water is warm. The Maid service was over the top with 3 people cleaning daily, 8-12. We had them do a Curry lunch one day, which was Super Tasty. Simple fix for the host and a cheap but great feature, being maids come daily, but don't supply Toilet paper, soap and shampoo. The market is very close and a GREAT Breakfast/ Lunch Restaurant is across the road. Fun Fact: Dodo Birds lived on Mauritius, unfortunately now extinct. Great Service. Thanks for the great accommodation, we wish we had stayed longer, this is a great place to unwind.
