This place has several pros and cons. The main thing guests should know is that if they stay in this location, they will be completely disconnected. There are frequent power outages, which is characteristic of many places on the island, no wifi or cell service at the location, and guests should probably come prepared with their own scooter, as this house is far removed from main roads. Depending on what you are looking for, this remoteness might be desired, and the view of the neighboring volcano is quite spectacular. However, considering standard local prices, this property is priced more like an air-conditioned property with consistent wifi and power, and you could probably find another stay on the island with similar qualities of this house (frequent power outages, removed location) for far less. The local hosts are incredibly helpful and welcoming, but guests at this property should anticipate needing to operate independently due to the location's limitations in terms of access and connectivity. I highly recommend coming to Camiguin as it's a unique location with opportunities not afforded at many other places in the Philippines. Getting to know the locals was a fun experience, and the views of the 3 Marias volcano are truly magical. This would be a good place for a large party as the neighbors would not care about noise or other disturbances. However, the host assured us that there would be wifi and cell service, and this is definitely not the case. In fact, you may be without AC or power. Be prepared for the downsides as well as the positive aspects.
