Maria was very friendly and approachable during our stay, and the location is great in Castellón, right around the corner from the old town. You have a bakery and a great fruit shop right across the street, and a good supermarket in 5 minutes walk. My personal recommendation in Spain are oranges, avocados and tomatoes. Significant discount if you stay at least 4 weeks. If you travel with family around March, we recommend checking when Magdalena is and avoiding it. There’s some interesting cultural events happening, but 9 days of having to avoid petards in the streets was a rough period for us. If you’re into partying and don’t travel with children though, check it out - it looked like fun.

El apartamento estaba muy limpio y ordenado, y la ubicacion buenisima, en pleno centro. Tuvimos una incidencia con la calefaccion, y Maria lo resolvio enseguida. Como unica pega, diria que en la ducha es dificil no mojar el suelo ya que la mampara es estrecha y el agua sale muy abierta.

Maria let me book her apartment very last minute after my aunt had an accident on her trip to Spain (visiting from Canada). I booked the airbnb for my mom to be close to the hospital. It was a 15 minute walk which was very convenient. The apartment had all amenities and kitchen appliances needed and it matched the description as listed. Maria was extremely helpful and communicative. She helped with all requests and changes I had. There was a language barrier for my mom to get much local information but luckily airbnb translated all our messages to help with that. All in all, despite the circumstances, my mom had a nice stay at the apartment!
