We just xhecked out of Matthia's home in Carrillo this morning and I wanted to take a moment to give it two enthusiastic 'thumbs up'. This is our first vist to Costa Rica and the home madw us understand the 'Pura Vida' vibe from the moment we git there. Check in was smooth and simple and we arrived juat in time to grab a drink, head out to the pool and catch our first of several beautiful sunsets over Playa Carrillo beach. The rooms were clean and well appointed and beds very comfortable. We didn't do any full meal cooking but you certainly could....Had all the items required. I'll state a negative to respond w/ a positive..I have a home so I understand things happen. There was a plumbing leak in the downstairs bathoom. I let Leonardo know and the next morning, 'the handy man' came and rectified the issue proptly....Problem solved! All in all the location of Matthias' place was just what we needed. Cool layout, refreshing pool, nice grounds and bea scenery. Highly r

View is spectacular & amenities are exactly as described. Lots of nice outdoor living space. Unfortunately when we arrived the house was dirty but the property management company offered to send cleaners over & when they came the cleaners did an awesome job. The pool was very refreshing. Please note there is no air conditioning in the living room & kitchen (which is on the upper floor) so it is very very hot during the day. If you can live with these small inconveniences this is a wonderful place to stay.

I’ll get straight to the point- this was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful home with stunning views in an amazing location. 2 minute drive or short walk to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Great restaurants just a short walk from the house and tons to do in Samara, just a 10-12 minute drive away. Matthias was responsive, helpful with recommendations and overall a great host. We will be back here someday!
