We had a lovely stay in this beautiful place. The art was well appointed and the kitchen was well stocked. The coach bed is perfect for those that prefer a firm mattress. It was lovely having our own outdoor table and shared courtyard.

The owner, Jorge, was very quick to respond to all messages. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and cutlery. We particularly liked the lovely back yard/garden. My wife and I spent many of our nights sitting at the little table at the back of the yard, sipping wine and looking at the stars. We were there for a week in mid February and did not miss A/C. We were downstairs and it was cool and comfortable. Thank you, Jorge.

The villa is a lovely place with a nice tropical garden, green grass & a table to enjoy eating outside or having morning coffee. The boat plunge pool is unique & very refreshing on a hot day! The suite itself is well appointed with all of the essentials, just bring your food and cooking spices. Water is supplied as well as anything we asked Jorge for. Jorge & staff are perfect hosts, proactive in anticipating guests needs, keeping a pristine casita and respond immediately to any issue or request. It’s located in a lively, authentic Mexican neighborhood. There are taco stands, restaurants, small grocers, a liquor store, lavanderías & a church all within a few blocks! If you like to dance, there’s a club close by where you can dance late into the night. If you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs for a better rest. I was there for a month and I have to admit that I did miss A/C sometimes. Vive la Mexico! The beach is easy & close to walk to which is a big plus. All in all a very good value!

What to say besides Jorge's wonderful casitas are perfect! Upstairs, downstairs, take your pick. Peaceful and with completely equipped kitchen for a stay of any length, it is in a great part of town, a real neighborhood close to everything….places to eat of all varieties, groceries, fresh fruits and vegetables, beverages, even the Wednesday tianguis (market)….all within 10 minutes or less walking time. You will love the grassy lawn with towering palms for shade (watch for the occasional iguana and daily squirrel action!) along with the totally unique boat pool/jacuzzi. Oh and yes the beach and the Melaque central square are also easy and direct walks of maybe 15 minutes or less. All this yet quiet at night (for Mexico), on a side street barely trafficked after @ 10 pm. We stayed two weeks and hated to leave. We will return!
