Lovely boat in a lovely location. Esther was helpful and communicative throughout., However - there was a really bad chemical-type smell on board - almost unbearable. We toughed out the night but it was so bad we left the next morning - a day early. We hadn't slept at all, our breathing was suffering, eyes and nose streaming and all our clothes and bags smelled terrible. The response from the hosts was a bit dismissive as if they did not believe our concerns. We did get a small refund. Overall very disappointed. I'm sure they are lovely people but feel they got this wrong. Hope no one else has the same experience - but if you do stay here and smell anything bad please contact Esther straight away so she can come and experience it first-hand for herself.

Esther and Tobie were very welcoming and always available for any questions we had. The boat was not only very pleasant and comfortable but cosy and quiet. The coal stove kept us warm whilst warming up the atmosphere. We would recommend this Airbnb, which is located in a quiet and beautiful environment, and we want to thank Esther and Tobie for being kind and welcoming. We look forward to our next visit there!
