We had a lovely Christmas at Marie-Therese’s place with family. We had 5 adults and 1 dog and this was a great space for us. Everyone said the beds were comfy and it was nice to have 3 separate bedrooms. As mentioned in other reviews the staircase is quite steep but this wasn’t an issue for our group- one of the bedrooms is on the lower level so that’s convenient. We loved exploring the trails in the forest behind the house- a beautiful spot. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with, always quick to respond! Thanks!

This quiet retreat was an easy commute for our enjoying Quebec. There are not many neighborhood choices for prepared food or dining, one notable exception was the pastry shop, Praline et Chocolat, just minutes from the door. What a nice way to start the day. The bedrooms were restful. We did not use the kitchen much, but it seemed well-appointed for someone who might stay longer. Our host clearly knows her business and was very responsive to our questions. We speak English and AirBnB auto-translate facilitated our written communication with ease. Others have noted the steep and narrow steps to the main sleeping area that are challenging for persons with limited mobility. For us, it underscored the fun notion of a hideaway. All-in-all are very enjoyable stay.
