Cottage in the Lane is a quiet complex of 10 cottages along a nature reserve, just under 1 mile from Drakes Island Beach. This cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with two singles, full kitchen, full bath, living room and screened porch. Pool (mid-June to mid-Sept.), WiFi and laundry. Each cottage has a picnic table and grill. The property is in a tranquil setting overlooking the tidal inlet. Cottages and grounds are well maintained, very clean and comfortable. Many cottage complexes are located on the busy route 1 strip. We are off the beaten path. We offer a solar heated pool and far more green space than most. We are just under one mile to Drakes Island Beach.

Have stayed in the Wells area for quite a few years at different venues. Cottage in the Lane stands out as in the top two. As 3rd generation owner/operators , Laura and her brother are to be congratulated. Thank you to each of you for a great stay. We look forward to returning. Bob & Susan

Great price, great location and very family oriented and quiet. Lots of extras on hand if needed. Awesome!!!!

Such a great find! Family owned & it shows. This was a last minute family vacation for us & they were so accommodating. We communicated with Susan's daughter & she was so kind & helpful. Our cabin was very clean, cozy & the kitchen had everything we needed. It's close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores & neighboring towns to do as little or as much as you want. The clothesline & on site coin-op laundry were great features. The kids really loved the pool, playground & lots of space to run around. We would definitely stay here again.
