This enchanting boutique hotel is located just steps from the sand on a pristine stretch of Mal Pais beach. All of the suites feature ocean views and share access to the resort swimming pool and jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen, living rooms and lounge spaces, and a private beach entrance. All of the suites have air conditioning and wifi throughout, and breakfast is included with every stay. This suite has 1 queen-size bed on the first floor and 1 king-size bed upstairs, an ensuite bathroom, Smart TV and Roku. Sleeps up to 4 guests.

We were just passing through…we thought, one night…well. I already wrote a review I couldn’t say enough about this lovely hidden gem …except that that one night wasn’t enough! We booked another night immediately!
This boutique hotel is beautiful, it sits on the beach, however, you wouldn’t know because the floors were spotless! Staff was very pleasant, the homemade breakfast was a bonus! The salt water pool was fantastic and the beach is a minute walk behind the house. This place is close to restaurants & bakeries. This boutique is a hidden gem!

Fue una estancia muy agradable. Todo era como en las fotos y escribimos. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas y espaciosas, hay una cocina super equipada y los jardines y la piscina están muy bien cuidados. Todo el mundo era super amable y servicial. Muchas gracias por el tiempo encantador, nos encantaría volver😊
Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit gepflegter und idyllischer Umgebung mit direktem Strandzugang. Zu Fuss ist es eher weit ins Dorf aber machbar, wir haben jedoch immer aufs Auto zurückgegriffen. Das W-Lan hat zeitweise leider nicht funktioniert, jedoch wurde das innert 24h vom Gastgeber behoben. Weiter haben wir die genauen Infos wie Bsp. Code zum Eingangstor erst zu spät erhalten, was den Checkin etwas Mühsam gestaltete. Alles in allem jedoch eine Unterkunft die wir sehr empfehlen können und ihren Preis wert ist!!😁👌

Beautiful tide pools can be found directly in front of the Suite, and a popular surf break is just a 10-minute walk to the north. You can also snorkel and swim at the beach directly in front of the villa.
Kids will love playing on the beach and exploring the villa’s large tropical garden, which is completely fenced and private. Visits from curious monkeys, tropical birds and other animals are common delight.
A popular local restaurant is nearby, while a wide variety of international cuisine as well as supermarkets, banks, cafes, and boutiques are just a short walk into town.
Flight: From San Jose International Airport (SJO), take a 20-minute regional flight on Sansa Airlines to Tambor Airport (TMU). At Tambor, you can hire a taxi directly to Villa Oceana ($60) or rent a car from Budget (reserve in advance). We are a 45-minute drive from Tambor Airport.
