Ahmed has many properties, and initially I was led to a different one on the ground floor. I asked for an apartment on the second floor with balcony, as shown in the pictures. I landed in a very good apartment, though different from the picture but similar in designs. The one I stayed at in Building 15 was beautiful, calm, quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable, and hot water runs long. The wifi during my stay is very good. He kindly offered a free airport shuttle at the end.

This was one of my best stays in Egypt despite the stormy weather. There is no problem Ahmed can’t solve, what an absolute legend. I wish I could stay longer.

Had a great time staying at Delta Sharm apartment! The place was very clean and locked in the great area, only 5 min from the Old City of Sharm el Sheikh. Ahmed is just an amazing hots and he definitely made my staying very comfortable.

Delta Sharm Resort is about half way between Naama Bay and the Old Town, which makes it ideal and it only costs you £0.25 to get to either. The bus station is nearby for starting your own trips. There is a big Carrefour within walking distance and a variety of local shops just across the dual carriageway. It is a big secure resort full of white-painted flat-roofed Egyptian-style apartments and I believe there are up to 8 swimming pools. The resort is tastefully designed with plenty of vegetation, including the ubiquitous palm trees. It is surprisingly quiet and benefits from the fact that many of the apartments are homes for their owners. This also means that many benefit from those extra touches, which make the whole place pleasing on the eye. Judging by the accents I heard, residents hail from places as far afield as UK, Italy and Russia. It has a nice feel, like a village. There are numerous shops within the confines, including a small supermarket and a couple of reasonably-priced restaurants. There are gardeners constantly keeping the shrubs and trees in trim and the waste baskets appear to be emptied on a daily basis. It is well lit at night and females should feel comfortable walking about then. The gym was important for me. The place I rented from Ahmed was "fully loaded", as they say. This included a gas cooker with oven, unlike the double hot plates you sometimes have to struggle with. There was a washing machine and a refrigerator with separate freezer compartment. There was a good sized modern TV with the necessary sockets for hooking up your laptop and ceiling mounted air-conditioning units in both the bedroom and living space. The place was fully tiled throughout in white floor tiles. The furniture was adequate and comfortable, much of it benefitting from glass tops to make cleaning easier. Ornaments gave it a welcome Egyptian feel. The entrance stairs lead onto a huge balcony with sun lounger, table and 3 chairs and enough room besides for you and your girl to put down your exercise mats. The bed was comfortable and there was adequate extra bedding for changes. There was also an iron, ironing table, airer and cleaning tools. The lighting gave numerous combinations to suit your mood. That is the material considerations. The best part of your stay is your host Ahmed, who will greet you with a smile and go out of his way to meet any requests. He doesn't just offer advice, but will go along with you, if you wish and treats you to local tastes. He doesn't force himself on you. He is just there when you need him, working out of an office on-site. He will ensure you have a great stay, believe me.
