Villa 26, grand views and nature surround you in a setting on a Rain Forest mountain above Playa Ballena. The Two Master Suite design is ideal for couples or small families traveling together. Secluded and accessed by private road, which is a well maintained road through a rain forest mountain, but it is a road through a rain forest mountain, so we require a 4WD vehicle. The 4WD is not necessary to navigate the road, but it preserves our gravel surface and is a more comfortable ride for you. In the Heart of Costa Ballena, above Playa Ballena and overlooking the rock formations of Parque Nacional Marino Ballena (Ballena National Marine Park) is the Eco-Residencial Community of Perla Ballena, where Villa 26 is located. Villa 26 is designed with two Master Suites, which open to terraces above the pool. The main level with kitchen, living and dining, outside salon and a third bath adjacent to the living area, with a pull-out couch, converts to the third bedroom with bath for additional sleeping accommodations. Wake up in Villa 26 with coffee or tea on the outside salon area and see Toucans cruising past or maybe a Pizote (raccon type animal) stealing papaya from the trees below the pool, as you look out over the Pacific to the Osa Peninsula and Isla del Cano in the distance. January to April and July to October you may see Humback Whales breaching in the waters off Playa Ballena (Whale Beach) You are surrounded by primary rainforest where Howler Monkeys or White Face Monkeys may be encountered at any time. Villa 26 is accessed by a private and gated road which keeps the Perla Ballena Community secure and peaceful. The Private Road is a good road, but please be aware it is a road through a Rain Forest mountain, we require that you have a 4WD vehicle, it is not critical for access, but is more secure and comfortable for you and causes much less wear on our gravel road surface. Trails in the Private Nature Preserve areas lead you to a waterfall and cascades, or just to enjoy the tranquility and sounds of the forest. Included with your vacation rental is the use of our BALLENA BEACH CLUB facility, two pools, showers, parking for visiting Playa Ballena with full Restaurant and Bar service at Restaurante Villa Leonor.
