The town centre of Gorubathan is 4kms from Camp 26. The town has a market for groceries and essentials, chemists, tea stalls. Nearby places to explore by foot or by car include the ancient ruins of Dalim Fort, a Buddhist gompha and several tea estates of the region. Experience peaceful evenings sitting by a campfire while enjoying the sound of a creek flowing. Most evenings you can enjoy watching the areas wild life (deer, wild cats, and an array of birds) making their way through the property.

The closest airport/railway to get to Camp 26 is in Siliguri (Bagdogra International Airport), 76 kms away (2 hours drive). There is also a railway station closer to the campsite, at Malbazar (New Mal Junction, 23 kms away) for select trains only. Public buses ply frequently between Siliguri and Gorubathan. Taxis are available for hire from the town centre to the campsite parking lot. We can also arrange for a pick up from the town centre to the campsite at an additional cost.
