It’s a good place to stay with it’s own private washroom. The place is easy to find and about 10-15 mins walk to Mingde station.

A Super host indeed! lovely and warmhearted, brought me a nice surprise on the journey. The place feels like home, warm and secure, it’s located conveniently approximate to MRT with restaurants and convenient stores being very close by. Jolene is someone that you wanna have a chat with, knowledgeable, well educated, polite and respectful. I’d love to stay at her place again if future opportunities present themselves:)

Jolene is a very kind and helpful host. Her communication was quick and she had lots of useful info. Her place is very clean and nicely located if you want to stay in the Beitou/Shilin area of Taipei.

Jolene's place was within 10-15 mins walk to the Taipei Veteran Hospital where i was to attend a retreat. She encouraged me to look around first to ensure that my accomodations would be suitable for my purpose. i chose to stay at Jolene's because she selflessly placed my interests above her financial gain. Communications prior to my arrival were good and timely. She sent me detailed directions from the Taoyun Airport to her place. Great hospitality. During my 4 nights stay when i get back in the eveings, her Mother and Aunt would enquire if i and my room mate, a last minute addition, were comfortable and sufficient. Jolene declined any additional payment for my room mate's 2 nights stay. Jolene was flexible and accommodating a 9 pm check out. And even offered to send me to the train station. Her Mother who in her 80's offered to show me a short cut to my first day walk to the retreat. This is only my second Airbnb stay. If i had stayed in a hotel instead, i would have missed the chance of meeting and enjoying my host and her family's warm and gracious Taiwanese hospitality.
