Wir (4 köpfige Familie) haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Man hat vom Haus, der Terrasse und dem Pool aus eine tolle Aussicht. Das Haus liegt etwa 200 m über dem Meeresspiegel, man muss also mit dem Auto hoch und runterfahren (zu Fuß wäre es sehr sportlich). Die Straßen um zum Haus zu gelangen sind sehr schmal und es gibt einige sehr steile Stellen und Serpentinen. Unten an der Hauptstraße gibt es direkt einen kleinen Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei. Die Insel erwachte gerade erst aus der Winterpause, aber man merkte den Einwohnern an, dass sie sich auf die Saison freuen und waren alle super gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Dora und ihre Schwester Irina waren total nett und haben persönlich begrüßt und uns eine paar Leckereien bereitgestellt (vielen Dank!). Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

Wir sind mit Familie/ Kindern gereist. Das Haus allein war schon den Urlaub wert. Tollster Weitblick, Ruhe, der Pool. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Zum Meer sind es zu Fuß etwa 20 Minuten -allerdings 190 Höhenmeter. Wir haben den Aufstieg in 35 Minuten mit Baby geschafft. Ein Auto ist dennoch zu empfehlen. Dora und ihre Schwester sind sehr zuvorkommend und haben uns umgehend Kleinigkeiten gebracht nach denen wir extra fragten. Vielen Dank für alles

A total gem! We (a family of four) absolutely loved Villa Ioanna, Corfu and our wonderful host Dora. We would love to visit again someday and enjoy more Corfiot hospitality, this beautiful island and the sanctuary that is Villa Ioanna. Thank you very much Dora & Eirini (and Dora's sister!) x

The stunning pictures online of Dora & Eirini's place don't even do it justice, it really is a little piece of heaven. The narrow, windy road up to the villa is not for the faint hearted but the view from it's position at the top is one of the most beautiful we've ever seen & well worth the climb!! We rented a car through them too which could not have been more convenient. They met us at the airport with the car, handed over the keys & we just drove off with our wonderfully thorough set of directions to get to the villa. Equally, at the end of the trip, they met us at the terminal, we handed the keys back & were on our way. Dora & Eirini were so welcoming, warm & helpful, nothing was too much trouble, it was such a pleasure to meet them. We'd book again in a heartbeat.

Dora’s arrival instructions were easy to follow. There was a lovely arrival package awaiting us, including a bottle of wine. Dora and Irini’s hospitality continued to be over and beyond. A couple days into the holiday our rental car had a flat tyre and we had challenges with the roadside assistance over the phone, with them refusing to come out. We mentioned this to Dora and her and Irini came over and dealt with this over the phone on our behalf. Within a couple hours we had another car sorted. We couldn’t be more appreciative of their help to allow us to continue to explore their lovely island. Next time, we will rent a car from directly from Dora.The road up is steep and a little unnerving at first however we got used to it after a few goes and felt that it was worth the climb. We can’t really think of any other criticisms. Would highly recommend & would like to come back in the future.
