We booked this accommodation SPECIFICALLY for the view, however there was a construction site blocking the view to the ocean. There is currently no ocean view in the main bedroom & no privacy because the building site was less than 10m away. Also early noise pollution from the construction site. We understand that this is not in their control, however, it would be common courtesy to inform guests who have booked or are booking in about the construction site & obstructed views. Not really sure why we were paying for a cleaning fee if we had to re-make the beds after removing our sheets, unload dishwasher and put away all the clean dishes & put all the blinds down. Not sure if the beds were cleaned as we found sand & a bug in the bed of the main room. We had guests from overseas who don’t live near a beach, so we were really disappointed about the obstructive views. The place is beautiful though, well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms & nice big dining table

We stayed at Stone's Throw last year and enjoyed it so much we re-booked this year for our annual family get-together. The location is great with the river at the end of the garden and the beach a short 5 min walk. All the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with platters, crockery and all you need with a child safe balcony off the main living area. A great family get away.

Lovely house, well equipped and fab location. Pity about the building site next door and waking the house every morning at 7am. New build next door blocking the view from master bedroom and had to keep blinds down all day as workers were right at the window. Also had to purchase our bed linen on arrival which wasn’t clearly stated.

The home is lovely with a great location; a 5 minute walk to the beach and river at the bottom of the yard. Plenty of crockery, platters etc, very clean, bright and open space. Perfect for our family getaway.
