The apartment was perfect for my need, which was to find a temporary place while I transitioned to my own place in Montréal. It was a convenient place to my work in downtown Montréal (#71 bus is 9o m away, and frequent at rush hour times). From this apartment I did conveniently walk to restaurants/bars on Notre-Dame too. The neighbourhood was safe, but not somewhere I would move to myself. The apartment was perfect for a single person. It was clean and had all things I needed (except a can opener, but I informed owners, and i think they will fix this :-). The owner were friendly, communicative (responding when necessary), and very dependable -- what you are looking for! This was my 1st airBnB experience, and it was a very positive one.

C'est un appartement très chaleureux, situé dans un quartier résidentiel, très près de tout! Nous avons aimé la localisation et le calme du quartier. Les hôtes ont été très disponibles tout au long du séjour, lorsque nous avions des questions. C'est un appartement idéal pour profiter de Montréal en tout quiétude.

Perfect place for two, very quiet neighborhood. Host was great to communicate and accommodate us as the original property we booked with them was already taken on another site. As other reviews stated the entrance to this unit had very steep stairs to get to front door, so accessibility should be considered. The building itself felt secure, and had the essentials needed for a short stay. The guest book provided prior to your stay is very helpful as we didn't even need to connect with owners at all during our stay. If you are looking for an affordable place to stay near old montreal/downtown while you explore the city this place is for you! Suggestions; bring slippers in the winter!

Exactly as described! In a great location within walking distance to Old Port and Old Montreal. Very easy to get to as well from the highway. I'd gladly stay here again :)
