Great property although needs a bit more maintenance. The kitchen wasn’t suitable for cooking especially for the amount of guests it sleeps. Views to die for and very private worth the long climb. If you are looking for privacy and views of beautiful Capri. The pool could do with a little more water in it and meant you could grab the edge.. But Amore rentals were very helpful and responsive. The outstanding service from Ivan our host, he was fantastic, he’s an absolutely lovely guy who helped us with everything and even shopped a very large shopping list all waiting there for us when we arrived and was so helpful in every way and this made our stay fantastic..communication and excellent recommendations. Easy check in and checkout.. I would recommend this place for complete privacy for a large group.

We had a lovely time! Ivan was wonderful and extremely responsive to anything we needed. The views from the house are amazing. Be aware that it is a long way up - many stairs and ramps before you get to the house. Be sure to arrange to have your luggage transported (for a fee) which you can coordinate with Ivan. The house is definitely old and could use some upgrades. Not all bedrooms are equal from the perspective of size and views. Note that the listing states 3.5 bathrooms but there is no half bathroom so just 3. Wi-Fi only reaches the main living room, outside patio and the two bedrooms. It did not reach the back bedroom, the pool area or the small guesthouse. No Air conditioning in the main room/living room.

The house location on the top of the hill was beautiful but the trek to the Airbnb was not worth it for our group. We are a group in our early 30s and the 1 mile hike uphill to the Airbnb from the main square of Capri was exhausting, especially with luggage. We wanted to explore the island every day and we did not look forward to our daily climb back to the Airbnb at the end of the day.
